The Better Understanding for Individuals Living with Diabetes (BUILD) program is open to LLUH employees and their family members covered under LLUH health plans. This program is specifically for individuals who have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Participants will need to complete 2 BUILD physician visits, 1 BUILD dilated eye exam and 1 BUILD approved educational program addressing diabetes needs. Upon completion, participants will be reimbursed for their physician visits, medication and diabetes supplies and diabetes program co-payments. BUILD was designed to provide support, information and incentives for diabetes type 2 patients to keep their diabetes under control. For questions about the B.U.I.L.D.
