New Dept. of Parking and Traffic established

As of Sept. 10, all parking permits and carpool/Rideshare benefits are administered by the Department of Parking and Traffic. Security will no longer be issuing parking permits.

Because Parking and Traffic's office is off-campus, parking permit applications or renewals and citation appeals can be emailed or faxed. The necessary documents are available online on the VIP Web site at home.mc.llumc.edu/Forms/Non-Clinical-Forms/Index.html under the Transportation, Parking & Traffic heading. After completing a form, email it to parkingdept@llu.edu or fax it to 909-651-3030 or ext. 53030.

After receiving a submission, Parking and Traffic will return a confirmation of receipt.

All parking permit applications received before 12 p.m. will be processed and available after 9 a.m. the following business day. Permits can be sent by intercampus mail to a campus mail address or office, or permits may be collected from either the Parking and Traffic or Security offices.

Citation appeals will receive email notification of rulings.

To further streamline parking permitting, a new parking management system will allow online registration and management of parking accounts. The new system is planned for activation within 60 days.

Parking and Traffic's office is located at 101 Redlands Blvd., San Bernardino. Shuttle service to the office is provided on the Purple shuttle from Coleman Pavilion. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and Friday 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. Phone: 909-651-3025; ext. 53025.

For more information, contact Steve Hertel by phone at 909-651-3025 or ext. 53025, or by email at shertel@llu.edu.
