Living Whole challenges university employees to 'Step It Up'

The Living Whole Employee Wellness Program invites Loma Linda University employees to join Step It Up, a two-month walking competition where teams compete for prizes.

The program is easy: Join a team (4 members, including a team captain), choose a team name, and email each team member's name and EID (located on the front of the employee badge) to livingwhole@llu.edu. Once the Living Whole Program receives the team information, the team will complete a registration form and qualify for free pedometers.

Deadline for registration is noon Friday, Jan. 25.

Teams are not required to walk together, and the online program will let teams track individual and team steps, as well as virtual walking on Google Earth maps.

The program requires an Omron HJ-720 pedometer that will be provided by Risk Management at no charge to Loma Linda University employees who register for the program.

For more information, call the Living Whole Wellness Program at 909-651-4007 or ext. 14007.
