Wesleyan scholar presents Baldwin lecture on Wesley, Adventists May 3

Randy Maddox, Ph.D., will present "John Wesley's Passion for Holistic Faith and Life: A Precedent for Adventists?" for the second annual Dalton Baldwin Memorial Lecture Sabbath, May 3.

Adventist theologian and Loma Linda University professor of religion Richard Rice will respond.

Dr. Maddox is William Kellon Quick Professor of Wesleyan and Methodist Studies at Duke Divinity School and is associate general editor of the Wesley Works Editorial Project, as well as previously serving as president of the Wesleyan Theological Society, co-chair of the Wesley Studies Group of the American Academy of Religion.

Dr. Maddox's lecture will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater.

This lecture is sponsored by the Loma Linda University School of Religion.
