Adventism's current currents series examines ordination minority report Jan. 11

David Larson, Ph.D., will discuss "Slaves, Sacrifice and Sex: Biblical Trajectories Today" Sabbath, Jan. 11.

Dr. Larson will launch his discussion by looking at the minority report of the North American Division Commission on ordination of women, then explore what conclusions Adventists might come to on a variety of ethical topics if they were to follow the approach to scripture proposed by the minority report.

Dr. Larson has taught theology and ethics for over forty years in the Loma Linda University School of Religion.

The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School is devoting the month of January to examining Current Currents within Adventist Thinking. The class meets from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sabbaths in Centennial Complex room 3111.
