Improve your sleep to optimize learning, health

Dr. Roger Seheult will present a workshop titled "Sleep on it! Improving sleep for optimal learning and better health," part of the Wil Alexander Wholeness Series, Wednesday, Oct. 24. The workshop will be held in the Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.

An alumnus of Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Dr. Seheult is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He currently practices at Beaver Medical Group and is the medical director of a sleep laboratory in Palm Desert. He previously served as medical director in the School of Allied Health Professions physician assistant program.

In this workshop, Dr. Seheult will share information on the importance of quality sleep and simple behaviors that we can adopt to improve our sleep and, ultimately, our lives.

Topics covered in the workshop will include

  • understanding how life's choices and study habits affect sleep;
  • learning how important proper sleep is to body functions; and
  • exploring simple interventions that can solve many sleep problems.

Everyone is invited to attend the Wil Alexander Wholeness Series. Admissions is free, and reservations are not required.
