When was the last time you paused--ceased the breakneck pace of your life--to breathe and take in beauty and be? What would you hear the Lord whisper that you can't hear over the everyday events and voices in your life that scream at you?
Pause is a one-day prayer retreat at Descanso Gardens Sabbath, May 4, to give you time to pause the cacophony that surrounds you and rediscover the quiet voice of Jesus.
Transportation is available from the Councilors Student Pavilion at 8 a.m., returning at 4 p.m. The cost is $10 and includes a sack lunch.
