To help victims of the recent severe earthquakes in Nepal, Loma Linda University Health sent an orthopedic surgical team to Scheer Memorial Hospital in Banepa, Nepal, on May 6. Scheer Memorial Hospital is part of the Adventist Health International network, which is based in Loma Linda.
The team has returned home, and members of the news media came to the Loma Linda University Health campus May 19 to interview Scott Nelson, orthopedic surgeon, and Andrew Hagland, MS, who provided logistical support.
