During the Researcher's Town Hall, we will cover the following:

AI Agents for Researchers
We will introduce Microsoft Copilot powered AI Agents that support you in strengthening grant proposals and identifying funding opportunities that match your research goals, including:

  • Funding Finder: Analyzes your project aims or existing proposal to identify active and relevant funding calls.

  • Grant Application Reviewer: Serves as a critical reader, helping you refine your application and strengthen it before submission.

Online Appointments with Research Affairs Personnel
Researchers can now conveniently schedule time with Pre Award, Post Award, IRB, Clinical Trial Center, Contracts and Patents, and Research Safety teams for individualized support.

Innovative/Translational Cancer Research Grant- For innovative cancer research, focused on cancers affecting women, including but not limited to breast, cervical, endometrial, ovarian, uterine, and other cancers that affect women.

 

NIH

 Ruth L. Kirschtein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (Parent F31) PA-25-422-To enable promising Predoctoral students to obtain individualized, mentored research training from appropriate faculty sponsors while conducting biomedical research in scientific health-related fields.


Community-Partnered Nursing Research Centers
(P20 Clinical Trial Optional) PAR-25-439-The purpose of this initiative is to support the development of innovative research centers to foster nursing-led programs that promote community-partnered research to address persistent health challenges.


Stephen I. Katz Early Stage Investigator Research Project Grant (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) PAR-25-322
provide a new pathway for Early Stage Investigators who wish to propose research projects in a new direction for which preliminary data do not exist. For this funding opportunity, applications including preliminary data will be considered noncompliant with the NOFO and will be withdrawn.

 

NIA Expanding Research in AD/ADRD (ERA) Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program (R25 Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed) RFA-AG-26-010- To support educational activities that compliment and/or enhance training opportunities to ensure a workforce that is well prepared to meet the nation’s biomedical. Behavioral and clinical research needs.

Doctoral Student Representative Precision Medicine Research-Aims to support doctoral student representative research within California that uses a precision medicine framework, includes underrepresented populations, who have been underrecognized or excluded as research participants, and reduces health disparities.

 

Alkermes Pathways

Research Awards-Opened to early-career investigators committed to advancing research in schizophrenia and bipolar 1 disorder, including sleep and circadian disturbances.
