Transforming Care Award- The PI must be an independent investigator at any career level.
- Supports person-centered research that prioritizes both the individual with AD/ADRD and their care partner(s). The project should clearly demonstrate feasibility and a realistic approach to scaling and implementation. CIT Partnership Option. Community collaboration is required for all applications. Animal studies are not allowed.
- Maximum period of performance is 3 years
- Single PI: Maximum funding of $1.5M for total costs & $1.8M for CIT Partnership Option.
Transforming Diagnosis Award- The PI must be an independent investigator at any career level.
- Supports research to reduce barriers and improve diagnosis and prognosis of dementia. CIT Partnership Option. Studies leveraging existing cohorts or data sets are encouraged. Animal studies are not allowed. CIT Partnership Option

Transforming Research Award- Supports high-impact research that addressed the priority area of "Reduce risk and prevent AD/ADRD." Clinical trials are not supported, but studies with prospective human subjects' enrollment may be allowed. Animal studies that are fully justified for relevance to human health are allowed.

Cal Violence Intervention and Prevention (CalVIP) Grant
The CalVIP Grant is available to community-based organizations, city and county agencies, and tribal governments who are working on initiatives to provide violence intervention services to communities disproportionately impacted by gun violence. BSCC plans to award approximately $103 million in funding for this grant cycle.

Postdoctoral Fellowship Grant- Support new investigators in research training programs to position them for independent careers in cancer research. As part of their evaluation, peer reviewers consider how well the fellowship will broaden the applicant’s research training and experience.

- Progressive stipends of $66,000, $68,000, and $70,000 a year. Fellows will receive $4,000 a year to help defray costs such as health insurance, workshop costs, and expenses associated with presenting at a domestic scientific meeting. In the last year, an additional $1,500 is added to the fellowship allowance for PFs to attend either the ACS Postdoctoral Fellows Symposium or a domestic scientific meeting.
