NIH moves to punish researchers who violate confidentiality in proposal reviews

Science Magazine recently published an article titled “NIH moves to punish researchers who violate confidentiality in proposal reviews.” Last year NIH officials disclosed that the confidentiality rules of the review process had been compromised. This resulted in the re-review of 60 applications. NIH will take disciplinary action against the researchers that broke the rules and will be assertive in pursuing and publicizing these cases in the future.
