2017 GRASP, GCAT, RIG and GRASP Intl. Awardees announced

Research Affairs is pleased to announce the Grants for Research and School Partnerships (GRASP), (GCAT) and (RIG) awards for 2017.  The awards were reviewed and scored by a panel of 15 or more senior researchers.  Based on the combined scores of the reviewers, 7 projects with investigators from different schools were selected for awards, fulfilling the GRASP, GCAT and RIG objective to encourage collaborative research between researchers in various parts of the institution.  All the applicants have received copies of the reviewer’s comments to guide them in preparing subsequent grant applications.

Please join us in congratulating Drs. Lida Gharibvand, Valeri Filippov, Roman Vlkolinsky, Jisoo Oh, Maria Filippova, Denise Bellinger, So Ran Kwon, Christopher Perry, Juli Unternaehrer, Yevgeniya Ioffe, Huynh Cao, Fayth Miles and Fabio Juliano Pacheco.  We earnestly hope that their studies are successful, that their results will be reported in peer-reviewed publications and will contribute to applications for extramural funding.
