In early October the Pre Award team began testing with a select of approvers our new eTransmittal and eRouting for approvals of grant submissions. Our goal is to make grant submissions more efficient for everyone by eliminating paper transmittals, hand signatures and reducing the number of emails our approvers receive. January 2018 is our target date to have all approvers trained and using the new electronic approval process.
Approvers include investigator, chair (department head), school business official, dean and institutional official.
