2016 GRASP Awardees announced

Research Affairs is pleased to announce the Grants for Research and School Partnerships (GRASP) awards for 2016.  Fourteen applications were received from 26 different co-principal investigators from seven LLU schools.  They were reviewed and scored by a panel of 15 or more senior researchers.  Based on the combined scores of the reviewers, three projects with investigators from five different schools were selected for awards, fulfilling the GRASP objective to encourage collaborative research between researchers in various parts of the institution.  All the applicants will shortly receive copies of the reviewer’s comments to guide them in preparing subsequent grant applications.

Please join us in congratulating Drs. Lisa Roberts, Susanne Montgomery, Kristopher Boyle, Eileen Brantley, Ellen D’Errico, and Gayathri Nagaraj.  We earnestly hope that their studies are successful, that their results will be reported in peer-reviewed publications and will contribute to applications for extramural funding.
