IRB reminder: Close completed studies

You should officially close the IRB record of your human research project just as soon as study activities involving contact with living individuals or their identifiable data are completed. To request IRB closure, complete a Research Report Form (see Renewals/Closures). After the PI signs the form, fax it to x80131 or drop it off at the Research Protection Programs. Once the IRB office processes this form, the study will be officially closed in the IRB system.  Other questions?  Call Deborah at the Investigators Help Desk at x43042.
