SAVE THE DATE: ON TRACK FOR RESEARCH SUCCESS

Research Affairs is pleased to invite investigators, research coordinators, staff, students and others involved in research to attend a half-day seminar on October 12, 2012 focusing on tools and information to assist them in their studies.  The seminar will provide nuts and bolts guidance on seeking funding, conducting human studies, working with the IRB, and understanding policies and regulations governing research activities, among others. There will be multiple table topics during the lunch hour with experienced investigators and representatives from Research Affairs to facilitate discussions.  The topics were selected from suggestions provided by researchers in a recent survey and the content is designed to help both new investigators and veterans improve their success.

Registration is free and lunch is provided. This is an ideal opportunity to get answers to your tough questions and to learn about the services provided by Research Affairs. It will also put you in contact with other researchers on campus.

Since many more topics were suggested than could be accommodated in a single event, this session will be the kick-off for a series of lunchtime presentations on additional-research related subjects.  We look forward to seeing you!
