We invite you to join us this Friday at 2:00 PM in the Wong Kerlee Conference Center for a special presentation by Dr. E. Albert Reece, MD, PhD, MBA, Director of the Center for Advanced Research Training & Innovation (CARTI). He will speak on “The Current Climate in Research Funding and the Research Enterprise”. We are honored to welcome Dr. Reece, an internationally recognized physician-scientist and former Dean of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr Reece recently served as chair of the National Academy of Medicine Committee on the State of US Biomedical Research Enterprise.  Dr. Reece brings decades of visionary leadership and pioneering research in diabetes and birth defects, making him an exceptional voice in the evolving landscape of biomedical science.
