The Office of the Dean of the School of Medicine is pleased to request Research Proposals for the 2024 Grants for Collaborative and Translational Research (GCAT) program.
GCAT Instructions
PHASE I – $75,000 Award per Proposal
Goal: To gather the preliminary data needed to compete for a Foundation, R03 or R21 grant (or equivalent)
Eligibility: Physician Scientist Teams
PHASE II - $100,000 Award per Proposal
Goal: To leverage and extend results from Phase I to develop and submit a competitive application for R01 (or equivalent) funding
Eligibility: Physician Scientist Teamswho have successfully completed Phase I
All types of research within the mission of the School of Medicine will be considered, with a project period of no more than two years.
