New IRB Chair

After serving six years as the Chair of the LLUH IRB, Travis Losey, MD, Vice Chair of Neurology, has stepped down from his role as IRB Chair. The LLUH IRB, the Office of the Vice President of Research Affairs, along with the entire LLUH research community, is grateful for Dr. Losey’s dedication and diligence to ethical human research while serving in this position.  We are fortunate to have him remain on the Committee as an alternate member.

Effective, February 1, 2021, Andrea Ray, MD has accepted the appointment as the new IRB Chair. She brings valuable knowledge to the IRB as having served as a member since 2005. Dr. Ray attended Medical School at Drexel University College of Medicine and went on to complete her General Surgery Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and her Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Virginia. Dr. Ray specializes in craniofacial surgery and pediatric plastic surgery. She may be reached via email at irbchair@llu.edu.

Patricia Radovich, PhD will fulfill Dr. Ray’s current role as Vice Chair and will serve alongside Vice Chair, Micheal Kuhn, MD.
