The 411 on Passwords

Network Logins

Your network login password is good for 6 months.  LLU Information System (LLUIS) will send you an email prior to your password expiring.  If you let your password expire if will prevent your from accessing many resources such as: Email, Canvas, MyLLU, API,OWL Portal, and many other services.

LLU Information Systems only advises you to change your password by going to the MyLLU page and clicking on the Change Password link (located under the "Get Support" section in the bottom right corner) .

You can access the password reset website (onsite or offsite) at the following location: swap.llu.edu

Password Complexity Requirements


Your LLU password must meet a minimum complexity requirement.  Your password must have at least 8 characters and 3 of the following 4 items:

  • Upper Case character
  • Lower case character
  • Number
  • Special character (such as !@#$%)

In order to reset or unlock your PIN you will need to contact Univeristy Records at 909-558-4508.
