Peru Mission Trip
MOT student, Ivana Poste, describes the Peru mission experience:
“Many of the 3rd year OTs (Jennessa Chan, Reina Andreatta, Paige McCambell, Jae Lee, Alyssa Peji, Kimmy Phan, Britt Walstrom, Melissa Reynoso, Kirstie Velantes and myself) went to Peru this summer break for a mission trip. There we were able to practice occupational therapy in various settings such as at an orphanage, community clinics and community outreach projects. In addition, we were able to practice our interdisciplinary skills with other Allied Healthcare Professions to address all the needs of the surrounding communities we encountered.”
