Lori Hamilton, director of Loma Linda University Medical Center People Services, will present "Interviews: Showcasing Your Best" as part of the Wil Alexander Wholeness Series Wednesday, March 13.
Landing a professional position in today's competitive market requires the ability to successfully represent oneself throughout the interview process. This interactive workshop will provide vital information on different interview methods, must-have behaviors and critical mistakes to avoid, as well as an opportunity to assess the effectiveness of interview responses. Participants will complete the session with a greater understanding of what employers expect from the interview process, and how candidates themselves can prepare to "showcase their best."
Workshop objectives:
- Understand the various interview methods used by employers;
- identify and understand interviewing dos and don’ts; and
- assess effectiveness of interview responses.
The "Interviews: Showcasing Your Best" workshop will be held in the Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
