Sabbath school guests report in advance of vegetarian roundtable

The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School Class welcomes two distinguished Adventists to report on "Christian Adventists Transforming the Nations: In-person Dispatches from the Front" Sabbath, Feb. 23.

Marianne Thieme, LL.B., leader of the Party for Animals in the parliament of the Netherlands; and Sigve Tonstad, M.D., Ph.D, professor of religion at Loma Linda University, will divide the time, sharing with class members their current work and thinking.

They have arrived from the Netherlands and Norway, respectively, to participate in the Sabbath evening roundtable in Damazo Amphitheater from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. co-sponsored by the School of Public Health and the Center for Christian Bioethics: "Vegetarianism: The Interface of Science and Values."
