Christians and philanthropy series continues

The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School class will continue its exploration of Christians and money with "Follow the Money: Philanthropy from Early Christians to Loma Linda" Sabbath, Feb. 16.

The discussion will be led by three individuals who have taught classes in a series devoted to money, philanthropy and Christianity: John Jones, professor of New Testament at the H.M.S. Richards Divinity School at La Sierra University; David Larson, professor of religion in the Loma Linda University School of Religion; and Roy Branson, director of the Center for Christian Bioethics at LLU. They will reflect on the variety of ways and reasons that Christians have given their own wealth to others.

The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School class meets from 10:20 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Centennial Complex room 3111.
