Learn how to 'get your foot in the door' at résumé workshop

Lori Hamilton, director of Loma Linda University Medical Center People Services, will present a workshop titled "Résumé: Getting Your Foot In the Door" as part of the Wil Alexander Wholeness Series Wednesday, Feb. 13.

A well-crafted, professional résumé can be the key to obtain a choice position. In this workshop, learn must-have compontents of a résumé and critical mistakes to avoid, evaluate the effectiveness of résumé samples, and learn how to write a résumé that will help "get your foot in the door."

Workshop objectives include

  • understanding different types of résumés;
  • identifying and understanding résumé dos and don'ts; and
  • learning tips to improve a résumés impact.

"Résumé: Getting Your Foot In the Door" will be held in Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
