The outcome of the 2012 election means "Obamacare" will not be repealed. But will the program be expanded? In what direction--and how fast? And how will the Affordable Care Act affect Loma Linda University, the University's mission, or the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church?
These questions--and more--will be explored at "The 2012 Election Results and the Future of Loma Linda: A Roundtable Discussion" presented by the Center for Christian Bioethics Sabbath, Dec. 8, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater.
Participants will include John Goodman, M.B.A., president and CEO of EPIC Management and former manager of Beaver Medical Group; Richard Rawson, vice president for strategic planning of Loma Linda University Health; Gerald Winslow, Ph.D., vice president for mission and culture of Loma Linda University; and Roy Branson, Ph.D., director of the Center for Christian Bioethics.
