Share your ride and win

Have you been planning to sign up for Rideshare but keep putting off? Here’s a little extra incentive to help get you started today. Sign up during Rideshare week, October 3 through 7, and automatically be entered to win one of many great prizes.

Loma Linda University Health employees can make the pledge today by registering at https://www.ie511.org/iecommuter/ or stopping by the Rideshare office in the West Hall parking lot on Campus Street.

Whether you are interested in carpooling, walking, biking, riding the bus or vanpooling to work, Rideshare has the means of transportation and incentives to fit your lifestyle.

“Leaving our cars at home even for one day a week helps traffic congestion, parking problems, and the environment,” Patricia Ibarra, employee transportation coordinator for Loma Linda University Health, states.

Do you live in the High Desert?

Commuters from the High Desert have the option of participating in free vanpooling for one week. This vanpool is in danger of being discontinued due to lack of riders, but your pledge could make the difference. Try it today and see if you want to help this vanpool remain available to commuters.

Currently departing at 6 a.m. from the Rite Aid parking lot in Phelan, the van arrives on campus by 7 a.m. and leaves campus in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

If interested in this vanpool or others, please contact Patricia Ibarra at extension 53033.
