Wholeness workshop to feature play 'Wit' March 30

Brady Huffman and Dr. Ken Wright will present a play titled "Wit," part of the Wil Alexander Wholeness Series, Wednesday, March 30. The play will be held in the Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.

"Wit" tells the story of Dr. Vivian Bearing, a renowned English professor and terminal cancer patient who reassesses her life with "wit" and profundity while undergoing experimental cancer treatments.

Objectives for the workshop include:

  • increase awareness of the humanity and vulnerability of patients;
  • review the health care professional's responsibility to listen to and empathize with patients; and
  • understand the sometimes-subtle spiritual needs of patients.

Reservations are not required and seating is available for everyone.
