Freud and Lewis debate in 'Freud's Last Session' Jan. 28

For the Wednesday, Jan. 28, Wil Alexander Wholeness Series workshop, Dr. Kenneth Wright and Brady Greer Huffman will perform Mark St. Germain's "Freud's Last Session."

The play centers on pioneering psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud and a little known professor, C.S. Lewis, who Dr. Freud invites to his London home. Mr. Lewis, expecting to be chastised for satirizing Dr. Freud in a recent book, soon realizes that Dr. Freud has a more significant agenda. On the day that Great Britain enters World War II, Dr. Freud and Mr. Lewis clash on the existence of God, love, sex and the meaning of life.

This workshop will be held in the Centennial Complex Damazo Amphitheater from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Email meals@llu.edu by noon Monday, Jan. 26, to reserve a light meal after the workshop.
