Dr. Roy Branson will present "Compelling Moral Visions: A Third Way of Doing Ethics" Sabbath, July 12, inaugurating a two month series of classes examining how vision is as important as virtue or obligation in deciding what we ought to do and how we ought to live.
"The Moral Vision of the New Testament," a book by Richard Hays, a major biblical scholar who lectured at Loma Linda University a few years ago, will serve as a study help.
Dr. Branson is associate dean of the Loma Linda University School of Religion and director of the Center for Christian Bioethics.
The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School class meets Sabbaths from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Centennial Complex room 3111.
