Wonil Kim, Ph.D., will ask "Will the Real Second Isaiah Please Stand Up?" in the Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School Class June 7. Dr. Kim will focus on the part of Isaiah that begins with Chapter 40.
Dr. Kim is associate professor of Old Testament studies at the La Sierra University H.M.S. Richards Divinity School. Since earning his doctorate from Claremont Graduate University, Dr. Kim has taught classes in the theology and the interpretation of the Old Testament. In addition, he has been invited to chair and present at the national meetings of the Society of Biblical Literature.
The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School class meets Sabbaths from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Centennial Complex room 3111.
