Allied Health Homecoming weekend features special events, CE opportunities May 1-4

The School of Allied Health Professions will celebrate its 18th Annual Homecoming and Continuing Education Convention May 1 through 4.

All Loma Linda University Health practitioners, alumni, faculty, staff, students and guests are welcome to attend the convention. In addition, health care professionals interested in lifelong learning opportunities are also invited to attend.

Continuing education credits are available for occupational therapists, physical therapists, physician assistants, registered dietitians, respiratory therapists, speech pathologists, nurses, health care administrators and others.

Homecoming events are open to faculty, staff, alumni and guests. In addition to the continuing education offerings, the weekend will also include the annual Alumni & Student Recognition Banquet, a hands-on cooking class with chef Cory Gheen, vespers, a GOLD (Graduate of the Last Decade) alumni event and a new team event called Live It to Win It.

Alumni of the health informatics and information management program (formerly known as medical records) are invited to join a special celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first graduating HIIM class.
