The Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy will host a Basketball Tournament and Auction Fundraiser Saturday, May 10. All proceeds will go toward the 2014 Romania Medical Mission Trip and be used to provide medical care to hundreds of patients in Romania that have limited or no access to health care.
With their $5 entry fee, attendees will be entered automatically into a raffle for an iPad. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 each. Items will be on display for a live and silent auction, and snacks and drinks will be provided.
Tip-off is 8 p.m.
The basketball tournament will feature 8 teams consisting of students, faculty and alumni. The winning team will receive a $1,000 prize.
The deadline for early team registration is April 26; registration fee is $250. After April 26, registration is $350. Team members must have team jerseys and non-marking shoes and have submitted a medical release form. Teams should check in outside Drayson Center by 7:15 p.m.
