Roy Branson will be telling "The Story of Rediscovering Adventist History" to the Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School class Sabbath, Feb. 1.
As an increasing number of Adventists trained as professional historians in the 1970s, they began examining the history of their own church--and the results of their study affected the self-understanding of the Adventist church.
Dr. Branson is director of the Center for Christian Bioethics.
