Retreat brings women 'Together Transformed' Feb. 1

The annual Loma Linda University Women's Retreat will be held at Benedict Castle in Riverside Feb. 1. This year's theme is "Together Transformed."

For the last 12 years, the Campus Chaplains have hosted a one-day retreat for students, staff and the community to take time away to become spiritually renewed and refreshed. The experience is designed to help women reconnect or connect more deeply with God, whether by spending time walking, sitting in a quiet place or connecting with other women.

Chaplain Dilys Brooks, the speaker for the retreat, seeks to inspire women to enter into a transforming relationship with Christ. With a passionate and enthusiastic love of God, her messages stir the hearts of women to seek passionately, love deeply and follow fearlessly.

The retreat will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. and cost $30 for students, $40 for nonstudents. To reserve a spot, call 909-558-8348 or email Stephanie Popescu at spopescu@llu.edu.
