'Eternal Chains' and the fall of angels in NT prophets subject of Sabbath School Dec. 7

The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School Class will venture into an unusual and evocative theme, "Eternal Chains in the Nether Gloom: The Fall of Angels in the Minor Prophets of the New Testament," Sabbath, Dec. 7.

Warren Trenchard, Ph.D., professor of New Testament at the La Sierra University HMS Richards Divinity School and director of the Center of Conflict Resolution, will explore how New Testament writers wove images of dark and watery chaos found in the Old Testament and the Apocrypha into affirmations of Christ’s triumph and redemption.

The Roy Branson and Friends Sabbath School class meets from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Centennial Complex room 3111.
