The Center for Christian Bioethics presents the first Bioethics Grand Rounds of the 2013–2014 academic year: "Gun Violence & The Public Health."
Presenter Daniel Giang, M.D., associate dean, graduate medical education, for the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, will explore the historical relationship between firearms and the Adventist church, the issues surrounding pediatricians advising parents on gun safety, the potential of improving behavioral health care as a means of preventing gun violence, and more.
The Bioethics Grand Rounds will be in the Loma Linda University Medical Center A-Level Amphitheater Wednesday, Oct. 30, from noon to 1 p.m.
