The Center for Christian Bioethics begins its Ethics in Great Films series with a free screening of "Something the Lord Made" Wednesday, Oct. 23, and Thursday, Oct. 24.
This Emmy-award-winning film tells the true story of an interracial partnership set in the Jim Crow South between Dr. Alfred Blalock and Vivien Thomas. Together they launch a medical revolution.
This event will be held in Centennial Complex room 3113 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will be followed by a brief discussion of the ethical issues raised by the film.
