Loma Linda University Health opened its Heart and Surgical Hospital in 2009. Throughout its first six years, the facility has grown quickly in both patient volume and services offered.
To reflect the diversity of procedures offered, the name is now simply Loma Linda University Surgical Hospital.
Surgical Hospital offers services including:
• Minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and robotic)
• Obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• General surgery
• Bariatric and metabolic surgery
• Urology procedures
• Ear, nose and throat surgery, and
• Vascular surgery.
It has 28 beds, six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, two interventional suites and MRI and CT scanning services.
