For over four years, the On Campus Weekly Update has been delivered to your mailbox every week with stories and information about and of interest to this University. We've kept you up-to-date on events and told you stories of people doing good things at Loma Linda University. For your part, you've contributed by sending in stories and announcements, comments and questions, and--most importantly--by reading.

But while the On Campus Weekly Update is ending its run, On Campus isn't going away.

On the contrary, On Campus is becoming part of a larger publication, News of the Week, which is delivered to everyone across the whole of Loma Linda University Health.

You've received the first edition of that publication today, and we're excited that On Campus can reach a broader audience, keeping them informed and excited about Loma Linda University, Loma Linda University Medical Center, and Loma Linda University Health.

Thanks for reading On Campus Weekly Update, and we hope that everything you've liked about us lives on in News of the Week. Keep reading On Campus at oncampus.llu.edu.

3410:4283 <![CDATA[Remaking On Campus]]> Flint Johnston Although On Campus has made minor revisions to its format and layout since it began publication over two years ago, this edition marks the most significant revisioning of what On Campus is--and what it can do.

What hasn't changed about On Campus is our committment to providing our readers with timely, relevant information about the Loma Linda University community. From announcing a new, first-time symposium, to putting a spotlight on a new student honor society, On Campus is reminding you that Loma Linda University is vibrant and growing.

What is new is this Web site. The previous management system was functional but clunky--but this new system (stay tuned: everyone will have the chance to use it soon!) allows us to include photo galleries and multimedia with our stories, to engage with readers more directly through comments, to subscribe to updates.

In short, the new On Campus is able to communicate the best of Loma Linda University better than ever.

We're excited by the changes, and we hope you are too.
