6088:43349 <![CDATA[New Website for ClinicalTrials.gov]]> Human Research and Compliance A streamlined, modernized version of ClinicalTrials.gov was released in June 2023 and is now the primary site. The new website has improved navigation, plain language guidance and additional educational content. It has also been optimized for mobile devices so it is now accessible from anywhere. The cloud-based infrastructure provides enhanced search response times with advanced filters that can be applied to both the homepage and search results page.

The classic ClinicalTrials.gov website will remain available until sometime in 2024 in order to give users time to adapt to the new site.

6088:43350 <![CDATA[HPSA score increase for hospitals]]> Research Affairs The Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) scores for both the Medical Center and Children’s Hospital have recently increased to a favorable level. These increases are due to collaboration between Loma Linda University Health, the California Children’s Hospital Association, and the California Department of Health Care Access and Information. This marked improvement could lead to increased chances of success for the organization related to certain grant programs and funding opportunities. Please contact Cindy Dickson (cdickson@llu.edu) if you are interested in pursuing external funding.
