Scheduled to go into production is the new proposal submission timeline. Currently, the timeline is included in the body of an email sent to the principal investigator; it will now be sent as an email attachment — see pdf. attachment below.
There are several benefits to the new timeline:
- Generating the timeline will no longer be a manual process, the dates and fields will be automatically calculated and filled-in based on the created InfoEd (LLeRA) record.
- The principal investigator will now be able to save the timeline in his or her personal proposal development folder—hard drive, external drive, cloud storage, etc.
- Everyone with access to the record will be able to view, save and/or print the timeline.
- The timeline will become a permanent document in the record (saved in the PT attachment tab).
